Titanic Research Paper

Titanic, a romantic movie also displaying a historic event, was directed by James Cameron, in 1997, based on a true story; however, the movie was too long and had many errors in it. Titanic is a movie about two people from opposite backgrounds that board this luxuries boat where they both happen to fall in love with each other. There were more than 100,000 people who turned up to see the ship called Titanic that was supposed to sail the across Atlantic Ocean. Rose (Kate Winslet) is saved by the young man named Jack (Leonardo Dicaprio) when he stops her from committing suicide because she is tired of her rich life and her fiancée who also joined them on the ship. Even after her mother’s refusal, she still went around with Jack and slowly fell in love; tragedy soon leaves their love life incomplete. Before the ship could sail its way through the Atlantic Ocean, they are hit with a huge tragedy leaving the ship as a historic event. …show more content…
The majority of people don’t tend to like lengthy movies since they can get boring. The duration of Titanic ended up being three hours and fourteen minutes. Many people didn’t sit through the whole movie, or if they did, they were half of the time zoned out. This could have been avoided if the director had just cut out some scenes. There was a scene were Jack and Rose are just partying around when Jack takes her after the dinner to the bottom of the ship where he was boarded. Then there was a part where Jack and Rose had their special moment together in the back of the car in the cargo of the ship. These parts could have been cut out or could have added with describing or showing more of the history about
