3. What tips would the site teacher give you for motivating students?
a. Have a reward system where good behavior is rewarded. Also use small rewards for those students that need something else. However, don’t overdo the rewards or the students will expect more.
4. List how the class does the following routines:
a) Taking lunch count- The students that bring there lunch bags put them in the a table next to the closet this way the teacher can see them when they walk out for lunch.
b) Checking roll- the teacher and the paraprofessional wait until they see most of the students are in the classroom. Before the teacher starts the morning calendar she goes around the room and looks to see who is missing and the paraprofessional then writes it down to turn in to the office.

If the students need to use the restroom they are allowed then. After the morning announcements are done they start the morning calendar and all that is doing in the morning time.
d) Lining up to leave the room- when they are planning on leaving the teacher assign a different student each week for the line leader, door holder and caboose. They are the first three to line up then after that the teacher calls them by table. When all in table they have a little say that goes like this. My hands are by my side I am standing straight and tall I will not talk at all I am ready for the hall.
