Tipless I decided to write about tipping for this essay because I have been a waitress for over two years and it is really irritating when people do not tip. It was easy for me to think of things to write about since I have had so many experiences with it. I made the title “Tipless” because the essay is about not having any tips. I incorporated examples of my own experiences with tipping as well as others’ in order to get a wide variety of stories. I also added in how tipping originated and who surveys showed was most likely to tip to give the readers more background information. I had compared this essay to Life cereal because it was quite plain and not very much fun to write. My peer response group helped me quite a bit in this essay. Some
