One Television producer I admire is Tina Fey. Her authenticity, her drive, and her sheer storytelling capability have helped her pave the way and make major breakthroughs for women in comedy, not just in front of the camera, but also in the realm of writing and producing. Her script ideas, improv skills, and unique vision for leadership in the comedy workplace have also influence fellow women performers in the areas of content creation and producing. She is probably one of the greatest creative influences, not only on my life but in the lives of many young American women hoping to break into this industry.

I want to be able to promote the same positivity in the shows I create, and headline my own projects with creativity and drive. Both Tina and I have a witty sense of humor where we use and make fun of our personality quirks and others habits. She comes across as sassy and sweet showing her audience that she can own it without being offensive and vulgar like Rosie O’Donnell or Janeane Garofalo. She is more like the writer Elaine May. I am sweet, but some things that come out of my mouth shock people due to my snarky and sassy demeanor as well. The fact that Fey is not offensive and vulgar is admirable and shows that she is talented and funny without using profanity. Fey is a rolemodel for me in this way showing aspiring creatives, like myself, that we can be funny without offending anyone with vulgarity.
