Timothy Walter Burton was born on 1958 in Burbank, California. He had a hard time maintaining friendships during his childhood because other kids would brand him as a “weirdo” and would tease him for being so eccentric, so he grew up as an introvert and loner child, who would spend most of his time by himself, drawing, reading Edgar Allan Poe’s stories, watching Vincent Price’s films, and making short films in his backyard using stop-motion animation techniques. One of his early animation was The Island of Doctor Agor, which he created when he was 13 years old.
After graduating from High School, he attended the California Institute of the Arts as an animator major. His talent impressed the Walt Disney Productions, which offered him an animator's
