Timothy England Case

Timothy England was a 17 year African American who recently moved to Alpine Timothy was one of those young men who had a terrible upbringing without any role models or mentors. He grew up with adults who thought the only way to be successful or to survive was to become a criminal. Although surrounded by negative forces, he still wanted to rise above the stereotypical perceptions. At the age of 6 Mr England father died from rear type cancer and left his mother to raise three children with $20,000 year salary. Clearly, the England family struggled financially and as the oldest child Timothy felt a sense of obligation towards his family. It was Friday, December 24, 2000 and the street were filled Christmas festivities, however Timothy was watching his mother crying and siblings asking for food. During his time in confinement, he read several books related to blood cells, physics and advanced mathematics. In addition Timothy was able to create a formula, which could cure cancer. At a young age Timothy thought never to trust anyone, so he kept his finding to himself. When he got out of his juvenile center his mother was registered nurse and was moving to Alpine, Texas. Timothy wanted to change his life also, so he applied for a scholarship. The scholarship was called Young Scientist Today, in order to win this scholarship the applicants have to present a partial formula which could cure a disease.
