It was a nice warm day on the beach in Southern California, where there was an egg. “What do I hear? Is that a voice? Let’s listen to hear what is being said.” “Hello! Hello, it’s dark in here. I have been in the dark for a long time, if I can only find a door.” Timmy started beating on the sides of the shell with his flipper, all of a sudden; he had made a crack in it. “What’s this, I see, light?” Timmy hit the crack over and over again. The more he hit the crack the bigger it got. Timmy continued to work very hard and finally had a hole huge enough to get his head through. It still wasn’t substantial enough to get his body out, so he wiggled and squiggles and kept working to make the hole bigger. Finally he was able to get his head in his flipper through the shell. Timmy interrupted her thoughts “I just thought we were going to be friends. I have a long walk to get to the ocean I just thought it would be enjoyable to have a friend to share the journey with.” Flo agreed to walk with Timmy for a while. As they got further along with their journey Timmy notices there’s a lot more turtles like him on this journey. They soon came across a hermit crab. They stopped to watch the hermit crab he seemed to be busy trying to move into his new house. “Hello, I see you have a shell for a house similar to what I do.
