The Greatness of Television
There are many options for television shows on the air today, whether good or bad so it is good to know what is worth watching. Television shows need to be evaluated because as a viewer you don’t want to be wasting your time watching something that isn’t good. “Timeless” is a new television show on NBC that airs Monday nights. Timeless centers around a three-team group trying to stop Garcia Flynn, a criminal with the intent to change American history, each of the team mates comes from a very different background making the team the best people in there fields. The three main heroes are Lucy Preston, a history professor up for tenor, US Master Sergeant Wyatt Logan, US Delta Force, and Rufus Carlin a mechanic.

“Timeless” is marketed to anyone who is looking for a very interesting show with a new take on time travel. The show centers on key points in history, for example the second episode went back to assassination of Abraham Lincoln, the villain was trying to kill all of the people who were supposed to die that night. President Lincoln still died, but John Wilkes Booth did not kill him. In the first episode, the team went back to the Hindenburg and first made it possible that the Hindenburg did not crash, thus killing important men who made D Day possible and the end of World War 2 possible.
The writing of “Timeless” is done in a very clear way and you know what the viewpoint of each character is. The conflicts are very well developed an example of this is Lucy somehow knows, it’s not been made clear yet, the main villain Flynn and started working with him. Each story flows well and makes sense allowing you to feel close to these characters and that there conflicts matter to you. Each characters main reason for being on the team has been revealed and each character has gotten great development after only two

Another great example of this is when Malcolm Barrett, who plays Rufus, is talking to an officer in the 1930s about how history is not on his side, the world will become more accepting. You can see on Malcolm’s face how excited and worked up he is but you can also see a second later how afraid he is when the officer comes back with more officers to beat him up.
The overall quality of the show is very good in that it captivates its audience and makes the question what it means to change history. While watching “Timeless” you can get to know the main characters and understand how they are feeling early on. “Timeless” is for people who want a show about history but also want to see what would happen if history was changed in a big way.
“Timeless” is one of those shows that will keep people wanting to watch it because you want to know what will happen next, you want to know if Lucy can get her sister back. You also want to know why Flynn is going across time to change history so much or if he has some type of plan. So I would definitely recommend Timeless to people if they were looking for a show that has interesting characters, a show with good writing, if you want a show about history and time

In life President John Adams was a man of revolving dichotomies, often revered for his statue of part of the ‘trinity’ that were the founding father, while also reviled for his hard nosed opinions and his practices in his single term as president (1797-1801). However, John Adams holds one of the most important places in the history of the United States. As one of the authors of the Declaration of Independence - he was the delegate who introduced it to the other colonial representative -he cemented himself as a fiery advocate for the liberties of the colonist; taking cue from his years as an attorney (his most notable case, trying the British soldiers involved in the Boston Massacre). There are countless factors that shape individuals’ views of the world. One critical factor is a significant event in one’s life, which can have profound effects on that person’s outlook and viewpoint. More than anything else, particular events can linger in an individual’s thoughts and memories, and reform their feelings and attitudes. This phenomenon is observable in society and popular culture. Some people don't understand that Socs don’t act as the ideal Socs are, and some Greasers don’t act as the ideal Greaser. History is just a compilation of several compelling stories of the past put together. I love that I am able to learn intriguing and true stories about places, people, and events that I have never seen physically or experienced personally. History is very interactive and requires creative and attentive thinking to connect why and how occurrences took place the way they did. For instance, I did not fully understand why the Americans revolutionized against the British until I viewed their struggle from the perspective of an oppressed and unfairly treated individual whose voice was not being heard.…
