"Time Travel? Unfortunately, this isn 't another episode of Doctor who."
"Wait, wait, wait dear, to understand it, you must tell it from the beginning. And no, you 're not time traveling."
Flashback
It was the summer of 1972.
Mother and father had finally gotten their divorce, however, mother claimed me, she said I never needed to know my father. Sure, it was a bit harder financially, but she 's happy, and that 's all that matters. On my way home from school, I noticed a strange looking rabbit running at full speed towards me. How odd. White rabbits aren 't really seen here. It ran past me at full speed, being the curious cat I was, ran after it, only for it to run into its home. Crouching down, I noticed an eerie light at the end

Standing up, I looked over the figure, he seemed to have passed out from when I fell onto him.
"Mr?" I asked, picking up a random stick and poking him with it.
"Hello?"
"Hello." He responded, causing for me to scream and hit him with the stick.
"Don 't do that!"
"Don 't do what? Respond?" He sarcastically told me, lifting himself off the ground; I finally got a better look at him. "Who are you?! And why did you take me here?!" I questioned, pointing the stick at him.
"Well doll, if you didn 't notice that creepy shadow chasing you down the hall, I was kinda your savior." He explained, "My name is Park

I wouldn 't have been there if I didn 't know about him. Come with me, let 's talk somewhere more private." He stood up and began walking towards to what looked like a small house.
Arriving, it looked like people were awaiting his return, they were surrounding his house, whispering when we walked in.
"Don 't mind them. Take a seat." He ordered, sitting down at one of the chairs; I quickly followed his lead.
"You still haven 't told me about why you took me here.." I started, not making any eye contact with the man.
"Doll, if I hadn 't, that shadow would 've taken you like it took your mother." He started, noticing me tearing up at what he said, "Wait, wait, wait, don 't start crying yet. There is still one way to retrieve her."
"What is it?!" I demanded. I needed to know, I needed my mother back.
"Follow me."
And with a snap of his fingers, he was gone. I still heard his taunting voice at the back of my mind, "It 's quite simple really. Once you beat off the danger that lingers in this land, you 'll be teleported to where I am. From there, you 'll keep going until the end. Keep in mind, you have 6 worlds to save before you can save your mother."
"Have fun in
