Personally, I enjoy listening to mellow, tranquil classical music pieces or smooth jazz. Specifically, my favorites to listen to are “Venus, the Bringer of Peace” by Gustav Holst, “Moonlight Serenade” by Glenn Miller, and “Colonial Song” by Percy Grainger. Musically, I believe this type of music has a calming effect over the body and soul since it’s soulful, and you can sense the deep, melancholic senses that went through the composer’s mind at the time. Therefore, music most definitely can also be used as a cleaner, healthier, and cheaper alternative to sleeping pills or such. In conclusion, music plays a large role in my life everyday. Basically, it travels with me wherever I go, no matter what I’m doing. Thus, it openly shapes and stretches me in my everyday
