Time management is an important necessity when it comes to surviving college. It is important to know when to study, where to study, and how to deal with procrastination. It is also important to have a strategy when getting stuck or needing help.
The best time to study for me would be right after classes, or in between the hours of 12 and 3 p.m. I find it easier to function in between these hours because my classes are usually over for the day, and I have a complete understanding of what it is I need to be studying. A tool that I use that helps me keep on track for studying, and that helps me manage my time is a daily schedule. It made the quality of my work not as great as it should it be.Now that I am trying to do better in procrastinating, I have started taking breaks while doing my work, and stating what is reason that I have to procrastinate. Taking a break in between doing my work helps by refreshing my mind, and helps me not get so overwhelmed. Usually when begin to get too overwhelmed with my work, I would continue to put it off, and will to go back to it until the work is due. The method of stating what I think I should do instead of my homework helps me with procrastination by making me realizing how much time I am wasting, and how much work I could be getting done. Another method that helps me is doing my work ahead of the schedule, especially if I keep putting my work off until the due date. That way, when my work is done I can do whatever I please without the worry of homework.There are so many loopholes that has helped me with my procrastination, especially when it comes to getting through homework and large assignments.
I often find myself getting stuck when large assignments and essays are due. Knowing I have a large assignment coming gives me anxiety and stresses me out. To prevent stressing out because of a large assignment, I have started to break the large assignment into small pieces. Breaking a large assignment into small piece is efficient because it helps make the quality of my work better by letting break the work up into a span of time and helping me take my time on the
