Time Log Analysis

In the forty-eight hours that I filed out the time log. I realized many things. One of them being that homework consumes more time than I imagined it would. In High School I barely had any homework but here, most of my time is spent doing homework. Another thing that was brought to my attention through this assignment of the time log is that I do not spend enough time doing my OBU Connections course, and that is a reflection in my quiz scores. Showing that the amount of time I spend reading and learning the material in “Our Mutual Friend” is not allowing me to fully understand the book and therefore causing my grades to suffer. I feel like I am not getting as much sleep as my body needs, even though it seems like I am getting enough sleep, I do not believe I am. …show more content…
I believe that besides not studying enough for OBU Connections, Contemporary World, and Comp. 1 is going to affect my grades poorly, but it is not the only habit I have that is destructive. I believe that also not spending anytime socializing except when I eat is also going to have a destructive effect on my emotional state. From examining my Time Log, I have come to the conclusion for me to be the best that I possibly can I need to change some of my habits. I plan to call my mom more often than I do, because talking to her, even though this sounds cliche, it makes my days so much better. Another change that I will make is to spend more time with my friends. It is not good for my emotional or mental health if all I do is study all the time.
