Timberland does not simply contribute their fashionable shoes to the world, but they also offer more benefits to the environment. Timberland, like all for-profit corporations, isn't required to develop environmental friendly habits, but their corporate responsibility to serve the community and the outdoors grants them a competitive advantage over their competitors who don't include similar measures. Timberland makes a priority to use safe products when manufacturing their shoes, such as their leather material that has wastewater purifying systems.
