I couldn't take his eyes off of this strikingly beautiful girl. She looked perfect and was all smiles and jovial. I looked at her as the 3 legged race began. However, all of these themes are tied together in the single concept of circularity. Amir, Baba, Hassan, Ali, and Sohrab all have a role in the delicately crafted story. Hosseini depicts beautifully and painfully the vicious cycle of deception after deception, betrayal towards loved ones, and finally, redemption from past sins and freedmen from circularity.
