Tebow was not faced with many struggles in his early life. In 2006 he was named the second-string quarterback for the Gators, behind Chris Leak. Throughout the season he had a limited amount of snaps, including a handful during the BCS Championship Game, one of which was a 39-yard touchdown run. Other than being a second-string freshman, the rest of his college career was spectacular, so much so that he is speculated as one of the greatest college quarterbacks of all-time. When he’s not playing football he is helping people whether it be through his foundation or on his own time. After reading Through My Eyes, community service has been an active part of my life. Service has taught me about compassion and understanding to a greater extent that of which I had before.
