"You just try to be nice to everybody and treat them all the same. Treat them how you would want to be treated." I believe Tim Tebow is the most inspiring person of the 20th century. Tim Tebow was born on August 14, 1987 in the Philippines because his family was living there and on a Christian mission trip. Tim Tebow was a miracle child because his mom was in a coma and the doctors had to give her strong drugs while she was pregnant. Tebow's mom was advised by the doctors to abort the baby because he would not survive, or even if he did, he would have serious problems. His mom did not want to abort him. If she did choose to have him aborted, then he would not have been able to help all of the children through the Tim Tebow Foundation that …show more content…
For Tim Tebow football is not all about the fame or the money. Helping poor and sick children is more important than football for him. Tim Tebow wants to make many impacts on kids' lives. Right before one of his games he took time to talk with a sixteen year old girl who had seventy three surgeries. Another time in Buffalo a young football player who had lost his leg got to talk to Tebow before and after Tebow's game. Columnist Rick Reilly from ESPN asked if this was a distraction from his football career. "Just the opposite," Tebow said. "It's by far the best thing I do to get myself ready. She was able to have her wishes granted through the W15H program which is connected with the Tim Tebow Foundation. The Tebow Cure Hospital branch opened recently in the Philippines, where Tim Tebow was born. The hospital helps children with treatable conditions like club foot and spinal deformities. Tim Tebow said, " I'm excited to be a part of this hospital that will bring physical and spiritual healing to thousands of children who would not otherwise have access to care." Some may argue that Tim Tebow makes a lot of money per game and he doesn't donate much money at all. He does donate lots of money. He has payed for the new hospital in the Philippines. That costed 3 million dollars. Tim Tebow pays for the flights and for the kids wishes that they have. Finally, it is not all about donating money because Tim Tebow donates his time like talking to them face to face and playing with them. Money does help these children in need, but they might just want to get their mind off of their illness. When Tim Tebow meets with them, he is able to have a bigger impact on the
