Some consider the goalkeeping position to be the most important in a soccer team. The Keeper explores the story of Tim Howard who is a famous soccer keeper who plays for United States. Tim Howard is a soccer player who has played for the United States, and the Colorado Rapids. He is now 38 years old and he was born on March 6, 1979. Howard had a brain disorder that made him have problem with speaking and facial tics. Tim Howard family struggled with money, which lead to Howard being raised in a small apartment that only had one bedroom. As a child Howard always wanted to win everything and it was like a thing for him since he liked to play anything. At the year 2003, when Howard was 23 years old, he got a phone call from Manchester United stating that they were interested on his keeping skills. Howard couldn’t believe it because he thought that at of all the people he was interested by a very famous and successful team, Manchester United. After a time, Howard received another call from the same person that had told Howard they were keeping an eye on him, and told Howard that they were going to go see him at one of his games; which was against Mexico. There was about 70,000 audience and among those were the Manchester United people that were checking Howard out. Howard knew that he had to play he’s very best to surprise and be acknowledged by the Manchester United people. The game ended with a tie and the Manchester United person didn’t say anything and just left. Howard knew he had to wait for a week for Manchester to replied back, and so they did. They called Howard and told him they wanted him to join Manchester, all Howard had to do now was decided whether to join or not. But in this case Manchester
