Tim Howard once said “Today, I am living a dream; and yet, if it all went away tomorrow, I know I would still have peace.” Tim Howard, is a brilliant soccer player that has had many impacts throughout his life, which makes him who he is today. Many may not know, but from the age of 10 he began to suffer from Tourette Syndrome (TS) and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD). This didn’t stop him from reaching for the stars; he excelled through school and soccer practice to be where he is today. Tim has had plenty of events through his life that have greatly affected his career. In addition, we cannot forget about this American legend’s success, achievements and how he has influenced millions of fans worldwide!

This brilliant soccer player making it through life with all his success; it really shows how much character he really has. From the start of his struggle as a child with Tourette’s syndrome and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, to where he had to play different sports to see which one he enjoyed the most and kept him in the zone. Controlling himself as he played the sport making him one of the best in the game. Moreover, having to travel through his career and adjust to a different lifestyle in order to play for these teams which he was a part of. Which could be the reason why he shined, won and earned all his achievements and success. More importantly, he influenced people all over the world some being just soccer fans or those with disabilities, he was able to prove that anything is possible. Tim Howard will always be known, thus he will be going down in the book of hall of fame once he retires without a doubt! In spite of, any disorders or setbacks you may have, you’re in control of what will make you succeed by turning a negative into a positive like Tim Howard
