Founded in 1964 in Hamilton, Ontario, Tim Hortons who has the largest restaurant chain in Canada specialize in “always fresh coffee”, “baked goods” and “homestyle lunches” (The Story of Tim Hortons, 2015). Originally, Tim Hortons only offer coffee and donut as its products. To adapt to changing customer preference, it enlarges its product portfolio during its years of operation by including “Timbit”, cakes, cookies, flavored cappuccino, yogurt, etc (The Story of Tim Hortons, 2015).
In December 2014, Burger King purchased Tim Horton and the new chain became the subsidiary of Restaurant Brands International (The Story of Tim Hortons, 2014). Tim Hortons currently has 3,729 restaurants in Canada and 884 in the United States (About Our Company,
