In a cold, dark mysterious mansion at the top of the creepy mountain held a very mysterious creature it had long, sharp pointy cold hands that could cut through nearly anything, with fortune comes to curse, every time this creature would touch himself he would leave a nasty cut. There was also good, he could carve ice, bushes and a lot more. He was different from most not the fact he had blades for hands, but the imagination, it had, Tim Burton used dark low-key lighting to convey what this creature was feeling sad/lonely in its daily life. Another Tim burton film uses very creepy low key lighting, as well in the corpse bride, this film had the same technique as the last one (Edward Scissorhands) this film was very dull when it came to the color it was almost like black and white but you could tell it showed color but very discreetly. Especially when the groom was walking in the forest practicing his vows when he finals gets it, then he puts the ring onto a stick that looks like finger but actually turns out to be, but then the dead bride rises from the ground. That was something that showed very low key lighting and stuck out the most to me. Both films is very alike because of the dull colors the creepy settings and the very uncomfortable music gives a slight chill when you hear it.
