Tim Berners-Lee
Tim Berners-Lee was born on June 8, 1955, and is 60 years old today. His parent’s names were Mary Lee Woods and Conway Berners-Lee. They were mathematicians that worked on the Ferranti Mark I, the first computer to be sold commercially. Tim had 3 siblings. However, I could not find their names.

Tim received his main education at Sheen mount primary school. The college he went to was The Queen’s College of the University of Oxford. There, he got a first-class degree in physics. His first job was at was at a telecommunications company called Plessey In Poole. Then, Tim went on to working at D.G. Nash Ltd, where he wrote typesetting software.
