The need of approval from the people around us has been engraved into our heads since the day we were born. Whether it is admitted or not, approval from society gives people a sense of recognition, appreciation, and confidence. Terri Trespicio says "if you fail at passion, you fail at life". This fear of failure involves not living up to the expectations that are set for you. Since I was a little girl, I had dreamed of being an actress. While I was growing up and finding myself out, I did a few acting jobs here and there. When I started high school, I followed my childhood dream and auditioned for and made it into the theatre II elective class. Since being a part of the Valencia High Theatre Department, I've come to the conclusion that I am not capable to put in the proper amount of work and dedication to pursue an acting
