Rikki-tikki would not be at the garden if it was not for Teddy’s family. Rikki-tikki could possibly be dead if it wasn’t for Teddy’s family. When he takes his first trip to the garden he already makes a friend , Darzee, so he is very friendly. Everyone in the garden except the snakes were very welcoming towards Rikki-tikki. He is very clever along with his other characteristics because he told Darzee’s wife to distract Nagaina so he could destroy her eggs. He is brave because he jumped into the snake hole to kill and destroy Nagaina’s eggs and he risked his life by doing that. He could have got trapped or stuck in the hole. Nagaina also could have caught him destroying her eggs and kill him. As well as the other characteristics, he is also loyal because he was protecting the family that saved him from a flood. At the end, he saves the whole garden by defeating Nag and Nagaina. In the resolution, Rikki-tikki comes back to the garden and is the hero. There is also a minor antagonist which is Nag but he isn’t as big as an antagonist as his wife is. Nagaina is wicked because she tried to kill Rikki-tikki and his family. She is greedy because she wanted the bungalow for her babies and herself. The only way to get the bungalow for her babies and herself was to kill the family. Nagaina really didn’t care about Nag because she threw him under the bus and just wanted him to do her dirty work. Nag was doing all the dirty work for Nagaina which made her think he would do anything. Not only was she vicious and greedy but, she was demanding too. She was nagging Nag to go inside the bungalow bathroom and was strictly telling Teddy not to move so she could kill him and takeover the bungalow. If Rikki-tikki would haven’t killed the snakes, the family would have been killed. If the family would have been killed then Nagiana would have taken over the garden. Also, Nag and Nagaina’s babies would have taken over the garden with their mom and dad and continued after they died. After all Nagaina’s work, she was not very
