“Run and find out” is the motto of the mongoose. Mongoose are one of very few species that can fight a cobra and win. Cobras are rarely in danger because they are great fighters with their venomous fangs and fast strikes. The story of Rikki-Tikki-Tavi is mainly about a mongoose taking on the responsibility to kill 2 deadly black cobras. The book is written by Rudyard Kipling. The book and movie of Rikki-Tikki-Tavi have many similarities, such as the characters, the setting, and the conflict.
The characters are pretty much the same in both the movie and the book. The evil snakes, Nag and Nagaina, are in both the book and movie. Nag is the husband, and thinks of himself as the king of the garden. The story states, “Then inch
