“Rikki-Tikki-Tavi” is about courage, friendship, bravery, and more. It’s basically how he faces his fear, and stands up for his friends. The main characters are Rikki-Tikki-Tavi (obviously), Nag and Nagaina, Darzee, and Teddy and his parents. All of those characters had parts for the courage, friendship, and bravery. He also tries to protect his garden and a young boy named Teddy. Now let’s get to the real deal. What is courage? Courage is the ability to do something that frightens one. How he had courage was when he was scared to fight with Nag, but Nag made him so angry. So, they fought, and guess who won the fight… Rikki-Tikki. Rikki-Tikki-Tavi actually killed Nag. People cheered for him , such as, Darzee and Teddy. After he killed Nag he was afraid of himself, but he later got over it. To add on to this he also …show more content…
The friendship is that he cares for other people. By other people I mean like Teddy, Darzee, and another one of his friends Chuchundra. The thought of him caring for his friends would mean friendship which is probably what he wants. Friendship in this story is him defending his friends from the enemies, which means he obviously cares for them. Last but not least, how is Rikki-Tikki-Tavi brave in this? He is brave by defending his garden and friends from his enemies. He also won to the fights. He killed 3 bad snakes in the fight, which is pretty brave because he was afraid at first, but he overcame that fear and had the courage to actually go near the snakes. Rikki-Tikki-Tavi was basically the brave hero in the story. Overall, we know that there are many themes in this story, but the main one is courage. Because he’s brave enough to kill snakes. He cares about a young boy named Teddy and his friends. Like I said before he’s the hero of this story and there are still so many reasons to why he’s the hero. These reasons are the most important details to help describe of how or even why the theme of this story is
