Although Chris does not succeed at first, he tries again and again in order to provide a better life for himself and his son. In the movie, Chris faces many setbacks including getting evicted from his apartment, losing his job, and dealing with a divorce, however Chris still refuses to give in to despair, as he struggles to create a better life for his family. In addition, Chris must starve, live in shelters, and go days without electricity, just to be able to survive harsh circumstances. Despite the fact that not all parts of Chris are heroic, Chris is a “real person,” with determination and fight to never give up, and because of that, Chris is a true hero.
All over all, as time goes on, many humans realize their heroes have flaws, but in reality, heroes are just ordinary people who decide to make an impact in the world, which is why they are classified as Idols. Typically our heroes do not have the ideal life of a “perfect human,” which is why they make mistakes just like all humans do along their lifetime. The rise and fall of our heroes make them who they are, as a worthy hero, which is why heroes can still be classified “a hero” even though they are not
