After a few minutes of struggling, Tiffany gave up and just decided to take the mask home with her because maybe she just couldn't see what she was doing correctly since the lights were off.
As she walked out to the stage area where everyone had gathered, the mask showed Tiffany all the cheerleaders ugly insides, just as it had done to her. On top of this, the mask also showed Tiffany what the damage they had done was going to do to the drama club and how devastated they were going to be. All of these emotions showed Tiffany how awful she had been all her high school career and she sat down on the stage and cried. Seeing Tiffany like this caused all the other cheerleaders to flock to her side and coo and wonder what was wrong. One even got the mask off.
Feeling the beautiful, yet awful mask being removed from her head, Tiffany sprang up and wiped the tears from her face and said, "It's only a mask, guys. Yeah, it's very pretty on the outside, but I'm the dumb one for crying with it on. I don't know what got into me. I'm sorry!"
