Reason for Visit: Reassessment of the Left Thumb Sprain TM was sent home X 1 shift the day of the injury yesterday.
S: TM was sent home X 1 shift yesterday for the left thumb sprain. TM stats his pain is 0/10 at rest and 8/10 with movement. He thinks he needs few more days of the rest before he can return back to work doing what he is doing prior to his injury. According to TM his thumb is still swollen and stiff. When TM was learned that he was going back to work he seemed agitated, stating that he know what the definition of the sprain means, and this is not how sprain is not treated. NP informed the TM, there are different levels of sprain, and he doesn’t have the s/s of sprain, except what he says and offered TM MRI, but TM refused the
