But once she does that nothing is ever the same. In the quote “She is crying through the glass that separates us. She is crying, and she is furious,” she describes about her child that will be separated from her child in which she will give her child for adoption. Also, she gets dreams about her daughter giving her nightmare. In the quote “Scratching at my sleep, and entering my side,” gives visuals that her daughter is on her mind and dreams in which she is haunting her. She has no attachment with her daughter what so ever that she gives her child for adoption and it shows in the quote “I am bled white as wax, I have no attachments.” she wants no attachment with her child for all she wants is to go back to school and get an education. It isn 't easy being a mother in college as she was only thinking about what 's best for the child. The mother will always have the best interest for her child.
