I have always been a success orientated person. Success is always a part of my day-to-day life. When I work on my research projects I always think about ways through which we can make the project successful, for instance through grants. I believe that whatever we do we must do with full dedication so that at the end of the journey we see results and achieve success. There are many failures in life, for instance during school there are many times when I do not get the scores I excepted, or my research project is not moving ahead due to lack of data and financial aid. However, success being one of my top three goals helps as during those times as I try to look for the means to overcome the failures and move towards success. Then, dance is a huge part of my life, and there are many times when I cannot get a step, but with success in my mind I practice longer than others and look for help so that I can achieve my goal and do leads during my dance shows. Being success orientated will help me push myself and overcome challenges to get into medical school. Believing in success will contribute to building my self-confidence and will help me work with different groups of people as with success in mind I can make everyone work towards to a common goal and overcome failures. Finally, my last top three value is a positive attitude. Through my different experiences in life, I have learned that a positive attitude is the key to survival and happiness. Every day as a pre-medical student I face many challenges. I always have the pressure of maintaining a certain GPA, participating in extra-curricular activities and being involved with research groups. These activities can become overwhelming as every person you talk to in your classes in discussing medical school, dental school or grad school. Hence, soon after I started university, I realized that a positive attitude was the key to success and survival.
