About 50 years ago, a heavily promoted study by physiologist Ancel Keys wrongly convinced the American Heart Association and almost the entire medical world to blame saturated fat for heart disease. Since then, a diet craze has been going through the United States. People are fully dropping full-fat foods and replacing them with low-fat or fat-free. But more recent studies have shown that this is actually creating more health problems rather than solving them. In this article, it describes three reasons to rid your pantry of fat-free foods.
