Three Reasons For Johnny Tremain

Samuel Clemens once said,“Courage is resistance to fear, mastery of fear, not absence of fear.” Johnny Tremain should join the rebels for these three reasons; it would be for his own benefit, it would be for the greater good, and last but not least, he would get to do actions that normally would be punishable.

The first reason that Johnny Tremain should join the rebels is for his own benefit. He did not have anything else to do. He would get bragging rights. Most importantly, he would inherit a gun.

The second reason is that would be for the greater good. He would get his hand fixed therefore he would be able to improve the economy by returning to his original calling. He would prevent the tea party from becoming a robbery. He would have
