There are three organization outcomes that are positively impacted by transformational leadership: organizational citizenship behavior/performance, organizational culture, and organizational vision. According to givens (2008), transformational leaders affect organizational outcomes in other ways such as organizational commitment, job satisfaction, and effort (Nguni, Steegers, and Denessen, 2006). Organizational citizenship behavior/performance promotes a healthy work environment where employees are willing to go the extra mile without expecting anything in return. We all have that one colleague or co-worker that when the clock hits 5 pm, they are out the door. Organization culture is vital because it is a direct reflection on what upper management values. Employees mimic what they see from management, if management is unwilling to work after 5 pm, what do you think their followers will do? According to Fine (1984) states, organizational culture reflects a sort of negotiated order (as cited in Givens, 2008) that arises and evolves as members work together. Organizational culture is a major reason why I love my job. There is a sense of purpose and feeling of family that is passed down from the president. These values are important to him and he expects them to be important to his employees as well. He has the uncanny ability to make you feel important even if you work in the mailroom. According to Givens (2008), transformational leaders help followers discover who they are and what part they play in helping the organization achieve its mission. He understands their purpose and provides everyone with a platform to voice your concerns, suggestions, and opinions. The fact that many employees have long-term commitments with the organization is a reflection of a successful culture with high job satisfaction
