When speaking of three material folklores I think of a ring, a sweet potato pie recipe, and a giraffe quilt that has been passed down from generation to generation.
The ring was pass down from my grandmother to my mother whom passed it to me. The ring is a token of my grandmothers and my mother's love.
Secondly, the sweet potato pie was also pass down by my grandmother, she was called the queen of the kitchen. Although my grandmother passed it down to my mother and I, I don't believe that our pie will ever taste just like hers.
Last, but not least the giaffe quilt was passed down by my grandmother. The quilt was said to symbolize an elegant and graceful spirit which is two of the main thngs a giaffe symobolizes.
