Three Examples Of Observation Of Mitotic Stages

Improved Essays
There are three samples of observation. The first one is called Mitotic stages, the second one is called As 114d, and the third one is called Lily meiosis. Mitosis stages is animal cell. This sample is brown. It combined with two big parts of the cell. There are many small bubbles in first part. The sizes of bubbles inside the big bubble are random. They separate randomly. Some of them are stick together, and some of them are alone. The second part of the sample is white and brown. The second one is As 114d mitosis. It is the plant cell. The second one is brown. Personally, I think it is like the corn, but a long and thin corn. There are many tiny bubbles. There are many dark points inside the bubbles, but not every bubbles has the dark points. …show more content…
The tiny pink points separate across the two pink circles. Transparent film wrapped the pink circles. The first one is different from the second and third one. The first one doesn’t have the transparent film outside the cells. Also, the first one neither has the dark points inside the cells. The bubbles of the first one are larger than the second and third one. The first one doesn’t have the specific shapes. According to traits of the first one and the biological knowledge of the cells, we can infer that the first cell doesn’t have the cell wall, chloroplast, and liquid bubbles. So the first one is the animal cell. The third and the second one both have the transparent cell outside the cells. They also have dark points inside the sacs and bubbles. The second and third one’s bubbles are smaller than the first one. Based on the biological knowledge and observation, the second and third cells have the cell wall, chloroplast, and the liquid bubbles. Obviously, the second and third cells are plant cells. In a word, the first one is animal cell, because it doesn’t have the cell wall, chloroplast, and liquid bubbles. Otherwise, the second and third samples are plant cells, because they have cell wall, chloroplast, and liquid

My group noticed that for Solution 1 the bubbles the were created were rather small and usually multiple were made. It was hard to make one large bubble and it usually lasted a short amount of time. The solution was also quite thin and sudzy. Solution 2 was a thin liquid and would also form multiple bubbles but there seemed to be an equal chance of making a small or large bubble. Solution 3 was a thick liquid and it usually made one large bubble…

“The glue is not one thing; it is a variety of different molecules that connect and lie between our cells” (123). This glue and molecular structure gives each cell and tissue their distinct functions. What makes many different body parts different is how the materials like cells and tissues are arranged and attached to each other, like the eye and leg. This indicates that every tissue alignment is different in it’s own way and can be identified with it’s organism. The author had his students try to identify each tissue under a slide and it is possible, but very…

There were five cells observed while conducting the experiment. The five cells consisted of cardiac muscle, elodea (a plant), paramecium (a protist), rhizopus stolonifer (bread mold, a fungus), and Bacterial cells (bacilli). Each cell was observed under high power lens (except for rhizopus stolonifer) with a total magnification of 400μm and a dFOV of 400μm. The estimated object size, scale bar, and drawing magnification of each cell was found except for cardiac muscle. Each cell appeared much larger under the microscope allowing each cell to be viewed and observed closely.…

Science Fair Research Paper Plants are one of the most diverse and important organisms that live on this planet. They provide us with energy, clean air to breathe, and sometimes even valuable, life-saving medicine. It seems fit, then, that we should know more about these incredible life forms and how we can grow them in our own backyards. To fully understand the being of the plant, we must first look in the micro world of the plant cell. There are three distinct parts of the plant with different cell shapes and types: root, stem, and leaf cells.…

Animal cells have plasma membranes, a nucleus, mitochrondrian and ribosome (Freeman, et al. 2014).…

Meiosis is a type of cell division that occurs in sexually reproductive organisms that leads to the production of reproductive cells called gametes. The process of meiosis begins with a diploid (2n) cell, which has a full amount of chromosomes. For example, in humans, the diploid number is 46. Meiosis gives the end product of four haploid (n) gametes, which have half of the amount of DNA that their parent cells have. In humans, this haploid number is 23.…
