As Hurricane Harvey rolled through the southern regions of Texas, many red flags are rising in public health. Due to the hurricane’s high rainfalls, this historical flooding initiated many threats amongst fellow Texans. What’s in the water could be a dangerous, as many could be trying to save lives, evacuate, or horse around (ex. swimming, canoeing, etc.). It is advised to stay away from the floodwaters for one’s own safety. One of these hazards are infectious, deadly diseases that could infect a human by one swallowing contaminated water or if one has a cut, water contacted it. That person could suffer the consequences by contracting E. coli, Cholera and perhaps the flesh-eating bacteria that has become a headline in the beaches of Galveston,
