The biological/neuroscience position states that evolution and genetics influence human behavior through the process of natural selection. One example would be a mutation of the 21st chromosome resulting in down syndrome. Those with down syndrome have intellectual and developmental delays. Therefore the biological/neuroscience argues for the nature side.
The behaviorism perspective position proposes that humans learn through their environment through classical conditioning and operant conditioning. A well known example is Pavlov’s experiment-- classically conditioning a dog to salivate upon hearing a bell because it associates the bell with the smell of food. The behaviorism perspective lies on the nurture side.

Mrs. Altier could use Pavlovian classical conditioning, a learning process in which an innate response to a potent stimulus comes to elicit a response due to a previously neutral stimulus, to condition her students to do well. During her lessons, Mrs. Altier can play some music while she’s teaching and play the same music while her students are taking a test so the students will associate the music and her teachings and have an easier time reproducing her teachings onto the test.
Mrs. Altier could reward her students based on a reinforcement schedule, instances of a behavior that will be reinforced. For every five completed homeworks turned in, Mrs. Altier could give her students a homework
