They had trouble making the lightbulb burn longer, they finaly discovered that carbonized bamboo filiment worked the best. He aslo invented the vacume in the prosses of making the light bulb because when he needed to get the oxygen out of the glass and the carbon in. so he made a one way vacume that bulled the carbon in and sucked the oxygen out at the same time. The prce for the bulb was very cheap however when it became public, there was a whole lot more money in the investment of electrisity
