Thomas Edison a famous American inventor, who invented many life influential devices and one of the first inventors who used mass production stated the following quote. “To invent something takes 1% inspiration, and 99% perspiration.” I agree that to make a goal or an idea reality it takes a lot of hard work. Thomas Edison invented many life changing devices e.g. electric light, sound recording, and motion pictures. My reasons why I agree to the quote Thomas Edison stated is the following. When a person is more persistent and focused on their goal they achieve more because persistence and being focused leads up to a hard working person. Every famous athlete had to work hard and put in all their effort to build their muscles and meet the requirements that you need to qualify in order to be drafted. Preparing mentally and physically for a sport takes a lot of dedication and effort I order to become successful and a reality. My final reason I stated above is the following is that in today’s world only the best or the people who put in all their effort and the best they can, achieve high level of success. Most people graduate high school and some just stop and don’t go forward with their education and don’t go to college or a university. The students who go to college or a university, many drop out and yet the ones who stay are still competing for good decent and the best jobs there is out there in today’s society. Most jobs require a bachelor’s degree. In order to get at least a decent paying job you need to go to college. Some people might think this because maybe everything was handed to them in their life or their just lazy and feel like everything would come their way and find a short way out. Also a lot of business may not be as challenging or the person is really smart and find everything easy. There is many reasons why people might think this there is no definite reason why or explanation. People who believe that hard work is unnecessary to make a goal or idea a reality are wrong!
