Drake’s new approach to hip-hop in this album changed the minds of everyone listening and even inspired other artists. In 2010, Drake came out with “Thank Me Later,” and this album wasn’t an award winner, but still captured the heart of its listeners. One major example is that Drake has only won 3 GRAMMY’s which is rather low for such a successful artist. Drake has never won Record of the Year, or even Album of the Year. This is a valid argument, but can be easily shot down. Drake is the most successful artist right now, commercially wise. He has nearly sold 10 million albums between 7 albums, and all debuted at #1 when released (Billboard).
Drake is the most successful artist of our time, and the numbers prove it. Drake not only creates music, but creates a loving culture in his home city of Toronto. After a short, but successful acting career, Drake has became the most worthy candidate to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of
