Dear Mr. Erwin,
Ciao, I am Thomas Aquinas and I am extremely interested and wish to apply for the tenure-track coaching position that is currently available at Rogers State University. I would be a great asset for this particular position because of my many accomplishments and outlooks that would lead the Hillcat team to success.
Firstly, I have recently made quite a long distance move to Claremore, Oklahoma from Athens, Greece a few months ago, which is one reason why I would be able to bring a fresh mind to the table. I spent most of my time studying and developing my own ideas and views of logic. I discovered that logic could be classified into several categories. One of these categories is determination in time and space, which is extremely crucial in order to accomplish goals especially when a team is involved. The Hillcats need to understand and be able to interpret the true meaning of determination, and I will be able to assist the athletes in this area. The subject of determination is one that benefits not only the athletes but also the entire …show more content…
Reasoning comes with great responsibility, and should not be taken lightly especially in athletics. Action and reason go hand-in-hand and both gain energy from the other. Once an athlete displays action with reason then all else should fall into place on and off of the track. I believe that my own reasoning and actions will provide a stronger and much more competitive team as the season progresses.
A third philosophical concept of mine is that of passion. I find that if each team member strives to succeed with passion that no matter the outcome each member is capable of walking off of the track with his or her head held high. Every member will then have a greater respect for one another as each one realizes the amount of heart that was placed in each event. Once respect is found amongst a team it creates a much stronger bond among members, and I view that as an accomplishment in itself. Passion is vital to the entire team, which is what I plan to instill in each and every one of the
