While movies convey their stories towards the spectators using the power of visuals and sounds; novels fuel the illimitable imagination of the audience, and as they start to read them, they start to live them. Poetry, on the other hand, has a more delicate and divergent way to communicate with the readers: it provokes the audience’s comprehensions and emotions. For example, in an anthology called Thomas and Beulah by Rita Dove, without acknowledging the sheer beautifulness within some seemingly ordinary words, the readers will not be able to truly understand the epic love story between Thomas and Beulah.
