Overall, I say this year was quite successful for me. I say there are many significant factors that were apparent this year to have me standing where I am today because without them, this year wouldn’t be as success as it is. To be bluntly honest, seventh and sixth grade year wasn’t as good as I anticipated because I didn’t really learn anything in my reading classes. The number one thing I learned in this class is annotations because annotations actually do more than they appear. They assist me to stop and re-think about what I just previously read, which is essential because it my brain refreshes on the event that just happened again. This is a skill I will for sure take on in my future years of schooling because this skill is the skill that improves my thoughts of literature and other factors along these lines. Another thing I learned in reading class this year is importance of reading because reading is what basically leads to me being successful. In relation to this, I don’t think I ever read this many books in a year, which is phenomenal because it positively impacts myself. So, thanks to Mrs. Heinsman more all the book raffles because that’s where I get my book recommendations from! Finally, the last thing I learned in this class is techniques of you can include in reading such as annotations which has already been mentioned, compare and contrast, predicting, and more. This all comes to play when I write a final essay in this class because it is the time where I stop and reflect on everything in the book thinking in many ways. Either is comparing or contrasting different characters or predicting what will happen in a sequel or any other reading techniques, it improves my writing skills as well. Reading was definitely one of my favorite classes as I continue to not be stressed out for the class, be interested, able to collaborate with my peers, and of course
