Third Presidential Debate Analysis

The third presidential debate with Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump was very interesting. Some words that describe my thoughts and feelings about this debate are unproffesional, vulgar, smart, patience, and productive. Unprofessional because they were some parts were the candidates were not proffesionals at all, interrupting one another and saying things that were not necessary. Vulgar because by the end of the debate Donald Trump called Hillary Clinton “a nasty women” and also said some innapropiated words that should have not been said at a final debate. That was a turning point and very unprofessioanal, and not a gentle man like for him to call a women nasty. Maybe that is why they focus on what he did with those woman so much because he does not know how to speak to a woman. Smart, because I also thought that both candidate answer to their question very firm and positive with with their answers. Patience because even though not nice things were said they did not goi out of control. Productive because I felt that both Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump stood on topic and were straight to the point when answering their questions even though at some point their answers were not the best one. …show more content…
Donald Trump was very disrespectful in this debate. Hillary Clinton was totally the opposite she felt more comfortable and confident in this debate than Donald Trump. Donald Trump felt more insecure and nervous A question that I learn the most from the third presidential debate was when the moderator Chris Wallace asked Clinton about a statement she made in a speech about wanting an open hemisphere of open borders and open trade. She stated that Russian government in hacking emails to influence the election. She also reminded voters that Trump has encouraged Russia to spy and that he has not acknowledge tha the U.S. intelligence committe believes Russia is

I’m not quite understanding of your comment. Are you saying that former Presidents Reagan and Clinton were as vocal against George Dukakis and George W. Bush as Obama is now being against Donald Trump and that there was justification in ’88 and ’00? I am fairly clear on the aforementioned campaigns and Ronald Reagan stayed out of the ’88 election much to the dismay of George Bush. And Bill Clinton, much to his credit, didn’t get involved with disparaging remarks about George W. Bush. What I object to is for a sitting President to be as negatively verbal as Obama and staff.…

In a recent presidential debate, Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton argued their character, and if they are fit to serve as president of the United States or not. Throughout their debate they depended on both rhetorical fallacies and strategies to build their arguments and prove their capability to run this country. Although the arguments made by the candidates seem to be just repetitive nuances of common issues, this debate gives us an idea of the duties and character traits a president must obtain. From start to finish, the candidates in this debate use rhetorical strategies to make their arguments stand out.…

Trump started out strong and composed but I think he lost his temperament throughout the night. He accused Clinton of not having a good temperament but from the debate that I watched I witnessed the opposite. As the other editorials have stated, along with Tory Newmyer, Trump came out strong in the beginning, but it soon went downhill from there. Newmyer stated that, “Clinton moved from the start to stick Trump in his softest spot: his business dealing.” Trump is all about his businesses and investments.…

The fashion magazine sat down with each woman individually to ask them questions about their presidential candidate parents. However, while the interviewer was easy going and light-hearted with Clinton, she attacked Trump and her father’s campaign policies (FoxNews, “Cosmo interviewer savages Ivanka Trump, softballs Chelsea Clinton”) In Clinton’s interview, she was asked about living in the White House, how her mother could get more millennials to vote, and how she responded to a comment made by Donald Trump about how her father’s infidelity (Gupta, “Chelsea Clinton Discusses the First Debate, Her Mom 's Pneumonia, and More”) Trump on the other hand was immediately asked questions about her father’s child care policy and why he’d waited so long to release the information, why the policy does not include paternity leave for gay men, and about her father’s comments from a 2004 interview where he supposedly said that pregnancy was an “inconvenience” to business. Clearly there was a major difference in the way these two interviews were conducted. Clinton’s was meant to be easy and promotive of her mother’s campaign, whereas Trump’s clearly attacked herself and her father’s campaign and policies.…

I believe Hilary Clinton won the final presidential debate. Clinton’s performance was more persuasive than Trump’s because she spoke with sophistication and intelligences. This country can go in two directions. The first way is up, with Clintons ideas and views I believe our country can become great and everything from trade to economy can thrive. The second way is down, with Trumps and his ideas to build a wall to keep immigrants out and his lack of commence sense and human decency.…

On September 26, there was a presidential debate between Republican nominee Donald Trump, and Democratic nominee Hilary Clinton. The debate was structured into six, fifteen minute sections, which had three broad sections, being; Achieving prosperity, America's direction, and securing America. The moderator for the debate was Lester Holt, a reporter from NBC News. Within the event I was an observer, I had absolutely no change on the outcome of the debate. The debate was intended to be a well-mannered form of communication between the candidates in order to get their main points across and sway the opinion of the voter to their side.…

The Kennedy-Nixon presidential election of 1960 made history with “The Great Debates”, the first ever televised presidential debates. The election’s outcome was greatly affected by these debates. This was one of the most important elections in American history because, for the first time, candidates were being judged not only on their ideas and opinions, but also on their physical appearance and ability to perform on live television (History.com Staff). This new form of media greatly affected voters’ opinions and final decision. John F. Kennedy, the democratic candidate, was senator from Massachusetts and had only served for one term.…

The second presidential debate was at the Washington University in St. Louis. The moderators for the debate were CNN’s Anderson Cooper and ABC’s Martha Raddatz. The debate was divided into six 15 minute segments, with topics about immigration, national security, health care and many more. In the beginning of the debate a member from the audience asked each candidate if “they feel that they are modeling appropriate and positive behavior for today’s youth, knowing that educators assign viewing the presidential debates as student’s homework?” Each candidate completely ignored the question and went off topic.…

Bush’s speech comforted the devastated nation by telling us acts of heroism and by telling us that we were going to get the men who did it. He wanted to comfort the nation because we were all affected by the tragedy of September 11th. He knew that we were confused about who did this and why anyone would ever do this. He comforted us by saying that the world was with us, supporting us and that we would never forget our nation’s national anthem playing at places such as Buckingham Palace, the streets of Paris and Berlin’s Brandenburg Gate. Knowing that the world’s prayers and support was with us reminded us that the entire world felt for us in the face of this tragedy.…

There are many Americans that have opinions about what they would tell presidential candidates about what they should change when they become president. There are diverse opinions throughout the country. However, there are several pieces of advise on changes and improvements that an american could discuss with the next presidential candidate. The first piece of advice an American would tell the presidential candidate is that as it stands now, United Sates immigration laws are unclear and misleading. There are millions of illegal immigrants who have come to this country or been born in this country to an illegal alien who are productive citizens and deserve a pathway to citizenship.…

If one of the presidential candidates discussed his underwear on live TV, would you still vote for them? In April of 1992, Bill Clinton told the citizens of America that he preferred briefs over boxers. But why? Presidential debates have been televised for many years, and they always seem to stir up some drama within the candidates. Perhaps it is the inappropriate questions asked by the interviewer, combined with the live, on-the-spot pressure to answer questions instantaneously.…

First Presidential Debate After watching the first of three presidential debates, I felt that, despite the unconventional campaigns of 2016, the debate proved informative and revealing of both candidates. Moderated by NBC News anchor Lester Holt, the debate took place at Hofstra University, Hempstead, NY between candidates Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton. The primary topics of the debate were released one week before the debate (“CPD”). While the questions were not released prior to the debate, Lester Holt provided fair and satisfactory questions for each candidate. Assisted by the format which ensured equal opportunities to respond to both candidates, the questions did not seem to play to either candidates’ advantage.…
