To start, the third little pig is admirable because he is resourceful. In the beginning of the story, the three little pig’s mother sent them away. Each pig built a house out of the supplies that they could find. The first little pig built his house of straw and the second sticks, but these materials did not provide the necessary protection against the devious wolf. However, the third little pig was smart and built his house out of a strong material. “‘Please, Man, give me those bricks to build a house with; so the Man gave him the bricks, and he built his house with them’” (10).
