Did you know that 9.8 million pigs are killed every year? The three little pigs is one such story. There are three little Pigs; however, two are killed by the big bad wolf when he blows down their houses of straw and furze. On the other hand, the third little Pig is successful in building his own house and surviving against the big bad Wolf. Throughout the story, the third little Pig shows many traits that make him the most admirable of the three pigs because he is very intelligent, brave, and prepared for everything.
The first reason why the third little Pig is the most admirable is because he is intelligent. There are many different parts of the story where his intelligence is shown, but the most prominent example is when he goes to build his house. “Please, Man, give me those bricks to build a house with… and he built his house with them”. This shows that the third little Pig is very intelligent because the other little pigs made their houses out of weak building materials but, the third little Pig was intelligent enough to use a strong material like bricks. Being intelligent makes him admirable because intelligence allows people to make wise choices. Therefore, the third little Pig is the most admirable.

I had been to the fair and bought a butter churn, and when I saw you I got into it, and rolled down the hill.” This shows his bravery because when he saw the wolf he was able to run away or hide, but instead he decided to go towards him even though he could have been eaten if the butter churn stopped. In the Looney Tunes cartoon “Pigs in Polka”, the three little pigs each show different attributes such as stubbornness, carelessness, and staying focused. For example, the first pig uses hay to build his house in a matter of seconds (“Pigs in Polka”). The first pig’s stubbornness is shown when he uses dry grass to construct his structurally unsafe house quickly, so that he can move on to more fun things. Once the wolf comes around, the first pig realizes his mistake, but it is too late, his house is destroyed without even putting up a fight. In addition, after the first pig completes his house, the second pig uses matches to construct his unsafe dwelling (“Pigs in Polka”).…

Throughout this novel, I have watched and listened closely to what these various characters say/respond to a certain situation that occurs within the storyline. Out of all of the characters I have spotted the chosen one, Piggy because of his ideas, his intelligence, and him helping the boys while he goes uncredited. I have chosen piggy as the most important character in the novel because of several reasons like piggy helping during situations. Some of the boys may have wanted piggy to work/help in a different which caused his work to go unnoticed due to his asthma getting in the way. In the novel around the third chapter, If I'm not mistaking, Piggy took each of the boys names so he could remember if one of them are missing or when they are…

According to the Three Little Pigs story, the truth is not the same for everyone. Most readers always conclude that the wolf killed or ate the pig because he was evil, mean, and ugly. Others actually believe that the wolf was only asking for sugar to pull in his cake and the pigs incident was an accident. The wolf was either telling the truth or lying because he did not give up saying that he wanted sugar. He might have been telling the truth because news reporters do exaggerate the news, also he would not give up on saying that he just needed sugar.…

Piggy is the most organized and he also has the best ideas about how to organize themselves. Yet, the other boys never listen to him and all they do is abuse him. Golding is using Piggy to advance the novel’s theme because he always comes forth with new, amazing ideas, but no one will take note of his ideas because of his shape and size. Throughout the novel The Lord of the Flies by William Golding, Piggy is perceived as the most rational, intelligent, and understanding character. Although he is the one to see the correct way for the boys to organize themselves and has the most useful ideas in the group, he is also the most frequently abused and is rarely addressed. The reason for this is that apart from being described with what society pictures to be flaws such a his corpulent structure, underdeveloped vision, and his outspoken annoying personality, Piggy is disliked for being the most mature and adult-like figure of all the boys as well. First off, Piggy is presented to the readers as physically vulnerable, weak, and full of imperfections and in result, is often easily…

I feel that piggy is the most important character in the society because piggy knows what to do when somebody is in danger or think of something that will help society. He helps with the boys that are in danger and tells ralph what to do when there is a situation that he cannot control. Another reason is in the beginning of the story where the plane crash and the only two characters that were introduced was ralph and piggy so that gives an idea showing who is going to be the main characters. Piggy’s personality traits to survive is that he is smart and helpful. The boys never thought that they could use Piggy’s glasses to make a fire but Piggy did.…

The hierarchy of ethics can be applied to Lord of the Flies because the variety of personality types on the island is vast. In level 1 of the hierarchy, the people’s choices of right and wrong are deemed by punishments and rewards, and they have a notion that “it’s only wrong if you get caught.” After the boys murdered an innocent mother pig, “The boys drew back, and Jack stood up, holding out his hands. Look.”…

The novel is thus an allegory or a fable intended to convey Golding’s view that evil is a powerful instinct in human beings and needs only a favourable environment to grow and flourish and to attain formidable proportions. In the novel, evil seems to have triumphed over good, but Golding has himself expressed the view that the novel does not depict the triumph of evil over good, but good rescued from the clutches of evil. The rescue comes, of course, in the shape of naval officer at the end. The title Lord of the Flies clearly shows that the novel was intended to have an allegorical purpose.…
