“I am going to Chicago, where are you going sir” said the lady
“I am going to Galesburg ma’am” I said
After a long train ride I arrived at Galesburg. After I got off the train I gaped at its beauty. I decided to invest some time in exploring a little. I smiled joyfully at its beauty.
After about a day I went and used some of my money to rent a small apartment to live in, I soon became acquainted with some of my neighbors, we became quick friends, after about two weeks I finally got settled in my small apartment. As I was about to leave to go have lemonade with a few of my neighbors, I remembered something charley had once told me about first day covers. I smiled as I sat down and wrote:

I went to the Ronald McDonald House for my city as text. Leslie and I went there on Monday night around six o’clock. I drove there so our traveling experience was not as exciting as it might have been if we had braved the bus. It’s been a day or two since we’ve left this room. I’m lost and enraptured by the fragility surrounding our isolation. I spend much of my time counting things. I count the slats on your window blinds, I count the clothes scattered on your bedroom floor, I count the scars on your body. I count every different language and color I could learn to love you in.…

You told him to leave you alone, but you were foolish to think that he would listen. Even with a fishing rod over your shoulders, determined to get a peaceful afternoon rest with your feet dangling above the furious river currents and the red bobber floating atop their violent surface. The Harvest Moon Festival is an Asian holiday that celebrates the union of families and friends while observing the full moon and giving thanks for the harvest. The Asian American Student Association and the Vietnamese American Student Association observe this day and created a festival here, at Oklahoma State University. I enjoyed the festival, even though the festival did get a bit disorganized, you could still tell that the organizations and the audience all had a fun time regardless of the somewhat mediocre talent. It was a kind of a chilly day. The clouds dressed the sky in a dull white color and the wind made you well aware of its existence.…
