Instead of thinking illness or weakness, think life - Life!” “Take time to think about what most fully represents exultant and joyous life - … Dwell upon this thought, rejoice in it, declare it, give thanks for it, and accept Life as yours right now. Start expressing It in any and every way you can. Your life is the Life of God within you. Keep affirming this continuously.”
The Basic Ideas of Science of Mind, pg. 37

Until we are loving in thought (in heart, mind, soul, etc) we will not know Love. There must be a loving quality to our consciousness in order for our thoughts, words, deeds, to express love. And, until we express love, we will not experience love. We only experience the love we express. We only know our own love, for others, for our self, for Life. We never know anyone 's love for us. We may accept that it exists, and believe we are loved, but the only love we know is the love we know within us. Instead of starting with the premise that you are loved (which is always open to doubt because you can 't experience anyone 's love for you), begin with the premise that you are a loving person. To love another is to recognize in them that which you know to be lovable. This recognition is not a matter of seeing what appears to your liking, or hearing what you wish to hear. It is not a matter of what they do but what they are. What you recognize in the other is what you know yourself to

Hello David, I hope that you are doing well. You stated that the spiritual and family elements are very important to you and I have to say that I too feel that these are very important. I know that as long as we have God and our family, we can make it through anything. You also stated that exercise would be very beneficial. I must say that I agree with that too. I have not exercised in quite a while, but I know that I felt much better when I was working out three times a week. I am going to try to find the time to start doing it again. Best of luck to you.…

Do we as human beings get to chose the thoughts that pass through our brain? That is the big question. What is thinking? Often times when reprimanding and trying to persuade someone one will say to another “don’t even think about it” but is that a choice somebody can even make? Blink: The Power of Thinking Without Thinking by Malcolm Gladwell argues that thinking is an involuntary action that humans do not have control over. What we do have control over however is how we react to our thoughts. Nota all thoughts are act uponed. Although humans do not have control over their thoughts, they should not allow their thoughts to control them. What is thinking? The Webster's dictionary definition for thinking is “the process of using one's mind to consider or reason…
