Things To Do After School Boards

The school board is a place where the staff go and have meeting about the school and how you can change it. A school board is a great thing to have at each school but sometimes they go overboard with the things they say. The school board plans to add one and a half hours to school each day. I disagree with this because we need time to do after school activities, it takes away from homework time and makes us more tired, causes more absences. When you have extra time at school it causes student to be bored which also causes students to be out of school a lot more.
We students need more time to do after school activities. So we can get some kind of exercise every day. If we have school that long each day it takes time away from our family time. Sports and clubs is a …show more content…
Even if we do try out for a sport or club it would end really late, resulting in exhaustion and no time to go outside and exercise, because it would be to dark.
Homework is something we really don’t want to do and staying one hour and a half more each day will make students not want to do it even more. Homework is sometimes hard and students don’t get it, resulting to us staying up late to finish it. It also increases the chance of kids falling asleep in class, and could result in low class grades. Which also causes some parent’s to get upset with there kids and blame it on the school. We are happier when there school because it cause us to have more time to do the things we love.
When students have more time at school it causes us to be bored which also cause more absences. When a lot of students are absence teachers wouldn’t want to teach just a couple of students every day, and the other students would get really behind in class. Teachers will not have a lot of time to plan out what we’re doing that day. So there would be nothing to do which also decreases our ability to learn. We would have to work too much just for one day.
