The film There Will Be Blood was an outstanding film. This film was released in 2007 and directed by Paul Thomas Anderson. The main actors were Daniel Day-Lewis, Dillon Freasier, and Paul Dano. This film’s screenwriter was also Paul Thomas Anderson. Paul Thomas Anderson did an amazing job making this film because, it came out incredible. One of the best films in my opinion and has a brilliant lesson to be learned from the film. There Will Be Blood is a must see movie. This film is packed with drama throughout the whole film. You will be on the edge of your seat most of the time. I don’t think There Will Be Blood follows along with any of the cliche films. This film doesn’t follow by any of the cliche films it is so different from anything I have ever seen. This film is about a man (Daniel Plainview) who leaves with his ‘son’ , H.W., to find oil to mine. He lies and steals to find oil and make money. He is very self centered and will do whatever it takes to make money. Nobody will get in his way and if they do he will go to the extreme to get rid of them. The main character of the film is Daniel Plainview (Daniel Day-Lewis) and he uses his …show more content…
Daniel Plainview isn’t a good person in any means but, he never let anybody in the way of his goal. The very gory scene with the bowling pin at the end of the film where he kills Eli for getting in the way of his dreams. This exact scene is where I fell in love with the film. The biggest thing I got from this film was to never let anybody get in between you and your dreams but, maybe not take it to the extent of killing somebody. Another big factor I pulled from the film was that money can’t make you happy. I’m very impressed by the way they played out the whole film. The film does appeal to people that love drama. I recommend seeing the film in theaters a thousand times because, each time you will catch onto something you didn’t see

An engaging plot, famous actors, non stop action, and CGI find ways to take this movie over, and create a masterpiece. The plot had similarities and differences with the comic, the plot of Captain America: Civil War is accurate and enjoyable to watch. The famous actors in the movie such as Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, and Paul Rudd create a great atmosphere for the movie, and they all are exceptional. She praises Steven Spielberg on how he was able to make a film have unforgettable scenes, shocking moments, and how the film can expect the unexpected. According to the Internet Movie Database, there are roughly 268,246 movies in existence. Yet out of all of those, there is one, in my opinion, that is superior to all of them— The Hunger Games. The Hunger Games is the best movie ever because of its action filled plot, highly-developed characters, and its ability to take the box office by storm. The first reason why I chose this movie as the greatest, was because of its action packed plot. The plot in The Hunger Games is riveting, fast-paced, and keeps you on the edge of your seat.…

The Harry Potter films are one of the biggest and most successful franchises in the world. The eight part film series came to a thrilling and exhilarating end in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part Two directed by David Yates. The film uses all of its resources, not just acting but cinematography, editing, and music as well, to keep the viewer engaged and at the edge of their seats as the culminating battle of the series unfolds before their eyes. While the film certainly succeeds in keeping its audience excited and engaged it does not succeed on all fronts. Much of the meaning imbued in the original novel by J. K. Rowling is lost in the fast paced, fervent, and action packed film.…

Red Eye is quite possibly my favorite non-slasher from Wes Craven. It's full of suspense, dread and in my opinion some of the best acting to come out of 2005. Rachel McAdams and Cillian Murphy carry this film on pure chemistry and intensely memorable performances that linger after viewing, coupled with Wes Craven's growth is a director which is very apparent when viewing this film so soon after some of his earlier works. I hadn't seen this film since the year it was released and was excited to revisit it, wondering if it would hold up and be as good as I remembered it. It was.…
